Lisa Parry
Lisa has been a Chartered Physiotherapist since 2009 and qualified with the APPI to teach Pilates in 2014. Since then she has gained many extra Pilates qualifications such as Pilates for Hypermobility (somewhat of a passion project for Lisa), Ante + Post Natal Pilates, Pilates for neurological conditions and Pilates for Teens and Kids. Among many others!
Lisa’s job as a musculoskeletal Physiotherapist lends itself well to teaching Pilates with special attention to modifying movements for those in pain, or with complex injury.
This small group Pilates class, which is suitable for almost everybody, is perfect for those with aches, pains and niggles, or those who want to try new, exciting exercises.
Whereas this small group class is open to almost all, (sorry pregnant people, this one isn’t suitable), this class is ideal for those returning from injury, new to Pilates or those dealing with pain. With a strong focus on modifying movements for the individual or exercising whilst managing pain.
Over the 6 weeks we will use a variety of small equipment to facilitate movement and progress. Participants will need to bring their own mats, but small equipment (such as balls and bands) are provided and sanitised between use.
