Yoga teachers are not immune to back injuries so many of us relate to those of you who have or have experienced back issues in the past. Rest is very important when healing and listening to how your back responds to everything you allow it to explore is essential. Breathe fully and deeply and only give as much effort and surrender that feels right for you.
Yoga Quarter Yin - Twists
Filmed in Yoga Quarter East, join me on a quiet journey of reflection. A smaller amount of postures which focus on surrendering into the bolster as we gently twist the spine. Rather than active yin twists which focus on a lot of spinal extension and muscular engagement, twists prone on the bolster require you to let go of body manipulation. Perfect for anxiety and racing thoughts.
