Julie has been practicing yoga for almost 30 years, and has been teaching since 2007. She began her classical music training age 3 and learnt 4 instruments, sang in several choirs, taught piano and did her degree in Music. However the pressure of the classical system had taken away all the joy in her heart with music so she turned her back on it all. In 2006 she was introduced to chanting and mantras on her yoga journey, it re-lit the spark and merged her love of music and yoga together in a form that wasn't about performance or perfection, but about the heart. Julie has been a chant leader since 2011 sharing Kirtan Chanting in Northern Ireland and beyond. She is also a vocal sound healing coach and harmonium and chant teacher with 1:1 students.
